Guitarist... songwriter... thinker.

The music that I compose is a shameless amalgamation of anything and everything that I've grown up listening to, from rock to pop, classical to jazz. My lyrics, on the other hand, are a casual commentary on the world that presently surrounds me. The songs that I write are for today; they are my now. My goal when writing them is simplicity, honesty and getting to the point of whatever the mood & matter may be at that moment in time. However, once the song is complete, I like to remember the circumstance that brought it to me and to let it serve as a reflection of who I am as a person, and who I’ve become as a both a musician & and a songwriter.

I want my songs to give me something to think about and, in turn, to give others something to think about, too.

The music that I write is motivated by my love of creating and of learning…
acts that I consider to be both attractive & essential.

I am based in Montreal, Canada.

Beyond the perceptible Bowie reminiscences, the flair in the guitar flourishes and the panoramic orchestration of the heart-warmingly morose singles bring Scott Cook into a league of his own.
